Mandel

Franklin Azzi took on the renovation of a property complex located on Avenue George Mandel, in Paris's 16th arrondissement. The site comprises two buildings of contrasting eras and styles — a classically inspired mansion built in 1889 and a more radical interwar building — set around a protected tree-lined garden. The agency carried out a unifying intervention that respected the history of the site while responding to new uses. By working on the entire project, the mansion is being transformed into a true “Maison Duval,” a central location for employees and partners. The renovation aims to restore the original coherence by freeing up the space from layers that have accumulated over time, then redefining spaces adapted to the needs of a contemporary company. Custom-made elements, designed in a single material, structure the circulation and integrate the support functions. Agility, high standards, and creativity guide this transformation, which has been thought out down to the smallest detail.
