Campus de l'Arche, La Défense

The creation of a business school is part of a plan to enhance the La Défense district by introducing new uses and diversifying its audience, in the heart of a tertiary landscape near the Grande Arche.

Spread over nine floors, seven dedicated to teaching and two to technical functions, the building is organized around spacious central areas designed as living spaces: cafeteria, lobby, amphitheater, study rooms. These interior spaces structure circulation and encourage interaction, giving the school a truly central location.

The architecture responds to the constraints of a dense and highly technical site: precise insertion into a tight urban environment, double main facade, and multiple connections with the different elevations of the pier, footbridge, and slab. The volume is the result of careful work to adapt to local zoning regulations, plot density, and safety distances. Finally, the cantilever allows natural light to reach the basement levels thanks to the integration of carefully positioned skylights.
